• San Miguel de Horcasitas, 1827

• In this Holy Parish Church of the town of San Miguel de Horcasitas, on the 17th day of the month of August, in the year 1827, I, Reverend Pedro Agustin Martinez, Vicar Judge of Sonora and curate of this district, after the banns had been published as mandated by the Holy Council, and according to the customary rite, married and solemnized in the face of the Church Ramón Sierra, a resident of this town, single, legitimate son of Juan Miguel Sierra and María Santos Molina, both deceased, Spaniards and faithful parishioners. With Anam. El Castillo, single, legitimate daughter of Juan El Castillo, deceased, and María Ignacia Carmelo, Spaniards and residents of this same place. The godparents were José Pedro Lopez and María Rosalia Moreno; and the witnesses were Alberto Carax, Dr. Pedro Mayorena, and Don Juan Marques, the sacristan. In witness thereof, I signed this on the day, month, and year above.
