• In this Holy Parish Church of the town of San Miguel de Horcasitas, on the fifth day of the month of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five, I, Fray Miguel Zellechea, the proper and appointed pastor of this parish, solemnly baptized a child three days old, whom I named José Franco de Jesús, legitimate son of the citizens Ramón Sierra and Juana María Castillo, residents of this mission. The godparents were Don Guadalupe Valdez and María Margarita Arvizu, also residents of this same place. I reminded them of the spiritual kinship and obligations they assumed. To certify, I sign on the aforementioned day, month, and year.
