- In the name of God, Amen:
I David Crawford being through the almighty, abundant mercy and goodness of God, tho' weak in body yet of a sound and perfect understanding and memory do constitute this my last will and testament and desire it may be received by all as such. Imprimis. I give and bequeath my body unto the earth from whence it was taken in full assurance of its resurrection at the last day for my burial I desire it maybe at the descretion of the executors hereafter named.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Evans five shillings lawfull money of the state of North Carolina.
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Riggs five shillings of the like money.
I give and bequeath unto my son John Crawford ten shillings of the like money.
I give unto my beloved wife for term of life the house and land likewise my goods and chattels to make and leave her one of my executors and Reubin Riggs the other of my executors after my wifes decease.
I give unto my son William Crawford. I give Devise and bequeath him and his heirs all and every of my lands and tenents whatsoever in witness whereof I set my hand and seal this 7th of October 1787. Sealed and declared this to be my last Will and Testament. - David Crawford(His Mark)
