Note/Disclaimer Regarding Photo Editing & Coloring

I manually edit photos in Adobe Photoshop using traditional digital restoration techniques. Only after sufficiently cleaning the image will I sometimes utilize AI to enhance and sharpen it. I also recolor black-and-white images with AI tools or manually when I am not satisfied with automatic coloring results. When recoloring, I always use my knowledge of a person's ethnic background, social/financial status, and any available records noting details of their appearance to estimate skin, hair, and clothing colors.

Prior to utilizing any AI tools, I thoroughly test all available options using multiple photos of people I have known in life to verify their accuracy. I recognize that editing and coloring photos necessarily carries a risk of altering a person's identity, and I take this responsibility seriously. If ever I am unsatisfied with the results of this process, I will not use the photo.
