Baptism Record

• Guadalajara, 1819

• In the parish church of the Sanctuary of Santa María de Guadalupe of Guadalajara, on the twenty-third of May, one thousand eight hundred nineteen, I, Bachiller Don Ramón Díaz, assistant priest of said church, solemnly baptized a mestiza girl, who was born on the nineteenth of this month at eight in the morning, daughter of Cayetano Limón and Yrinea González, married. I gave her the name María Prudenciana. Her paternal grandparents were Felipe Limón and Josefa Rodríguez; her maternal grandparents, Rafael González and Juana Tavares; and her godparents, Pablo de la Cruz and Mariana Cleta, whom I advised of their obligation and spiritual kinship.
