  • Louis Betti, 77, Dies in Escalon, Nov. 16. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Deegan Chapel here for Louis Betti, 77, an Escalon area resident 52 years and a dairyman for 40 years, who died yesterday in an Escalon hospital following a short illness. A requiem mass will follow at 10 a.m. in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with interment to be St. John's Cemetery. Mr. Betti was a native of Italy.

    He was a veteran of World War and was active in his dairy business at the time of his death. He resided at Escalon Rt. 2, Box 423, River Road. Mr. Betti was the husband of Giovanna Betti of Escalon; the father of Mrs. Sylvia Piccoli, Mrs. Irma Bailey, Mrs. Evelyn Swass, Mrs. Virginia Cova, Charles and Bob Betti, all of Escalon; Guido Betti of Castro Valley; Attilio Betti of West Covina, and Leo Betti of Seattle, Wash. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
